This is the site for our new strawbale studio. It will be 5m x6m and about 5m high.
We are having a lofted floor put in to the roof space for extra space.
I plan to do as much of the work as possible to save on money through out the builing process. I plan to use this blog as a diary of the work that is happening for any one who is interested.

I started leveling the building site by hand, but as luck had it I happened across a Bobcat owner looking for work who gave us a good price to do the job.

After moving 6 trailer loads of fill with some family help I was more than happy to get the machinery in to finish the job or should I say start the job.

Now we are waiting on the final plans to be drawn up and approved by council.
