I have been doing a little bit of digging I have dug out all the gravel from the footings and now have to dig into the soil. It took me about a day to dig out all the gravel and the picture show the result of half an hour of digging in to the soil. I sill have to dig down another 100mm to get to the right level. I think that I will be getting somone with a small digger in to do the rest as it is very slow going and would take me till the middle of next year to do the entire building.
